Sector overview

Quality assurance for water & wastewater projects

Water and wastewater assets are regulated, publicly funded and expected to run for fifty years. Quality assurance here has to satisfy the municipality's audit as much as the engineer's spec — potable-contact material approvals, coating systems inside tanks and clarifiers, and process commissioning that proves treated effluent meets permit before the plant is accepted.

Where water & wastewater quality typically fails

Coating failure in immersion and buried service

Tank and clarifier linings fail from surface preparation and cure defects that only show years later. We inspect blast profile, ambient conditions, DFT and holiday testing in real time rather than accepting an applicator's summary certificate.

Liquid-retaining concrete and watertightness

ACI 350 structures need controlled crack width, waterstop installation and a credible leakage test. We hold pours until reinforcement, waterstop and cover are verified, then witness hydrostatic testing against acceptance criteria.

Process commissioning against permit conditions

Acceptance depends on demonstrated effluent quality, not installed equipment. We align the commissioning ITP with the discharge permit so performance testing evidence is complete at substantial completion.

What we deliver on water & wastewater assignments

  • Material approval registers including NSF/ANSI 61 certification checks
  • Coating inspection records with environmental and DFT logs
  • Concrete pour cards, waterstop and watertightness test records
  • Pipeline pressure, disinfection and bacteriological test verification
  • Process commissioning and permit-compliance turnover packages
