Why outsource internal audits?
Two reasons: independence and competence. ISO 19011 and ISO 9001 §9.2 both require auditors to be independent of the area audited. Small and mid-sized organisations rarely have enough qualified, independent lead auditors to cover every process every year — outsourcing solves both.
Do outsourced internal audits satisfy ISO 9001 and certification bodies?
Yes. Clause 9.2 of ISO 9001:2015 requires an internal audit programme — it does not require the auditors to be employees. Certification bodies accept audits performed by qualified external lead auditors provided the audit process is owned by your organisation and reported to your top management.
How is the audit programme scoped?
We build a multi-year, risk-based programme covering every process, site and standard clause. Higher-risk or under-performing areas are audited more frequently; the programme is agreed with quality leadership and reviewed annually.
What standards can you audit against?
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 13485, AS9100, IATF 16949 and API Q1/Q2. Combined-audit programmes covering multiple standards on a single visit are also supported.
