What does an ISO 9001 consultant do?
An ISO 9001 consultant assesses your management system against the standard, closes the gaps with usable documentation and process change, runs the internal audits and management review the standard requires, and prepares your team and evidence pack for the certification body's Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits.
This engagement is for companies pursuing first-time ISO 9001 certification, recertification, or a client pre-qualification deadline — typically EPCM contractors, fabricators, manufacturers and service providers with 20 to 500 staff. Scope runs from a clause-by-clause gap analysis through remediation, internal audit and mock Stage 2, to certification-body support, and most programmes complete in two to six months depending on current maturity. The same team also supports ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001 on a single integrated audit cycle. You keep the system — we make sure it holds up under audit.
