Aviation & Airports
Airside works, terminals and aviation-grade compliance assurance.
Quality assurance for aviation & airports projects
Airport work is executed around a live operation. Runway and taxiway pavements go in during night closures with fixed reopening times, airside works run under wildlife and FOD control, and every element has to be handed back serviceable at dawn. Quality assurance has to fit that window without lowering the standard.
Where aviation & airports quality typically fails
Pavement acceptance testing, coring and profile checks must be planned to the minute. We build the ITP around the closure window so testing and hold points don't push the reopening.
Profilograph and straightedge acceptance is unforgiving and remediation is expensive. We verify paving controls — mix temperature, roller pattern, joint construction — during production rather than relying on post-placement testing alone.
Lighting photometrics, circuit insulation resistance and marking geometry all carry regulatory acceptance criteria. We verify these against the aerodrome standard before the surface is handed back.
What we deliver on aviation & airports assignments
- Closure-window ITPs aligned to airside operational constraints
- Pavement materials, density and smoothness test verification
- Airfield lighting installation and circuit test records
- Marking, signage and geometry conformance checks to Annex 14 / TP 312
- Nightly handback and serviceability documentation
