Data centre delivery compresses a complex MEP build into an aggressive schedule with a hard commissioning gate. Everything is judged at Level 4 and Level 5 integrated systems testing, and a defect found there — a mislabelled breaker, an untested failover, a missing witness record — costs weeks. We work the quality programme backwards from IST so it passes the first time.
Where data centres quality typically fails
Integrated systems testing exposes everything the earlier levels missed. We enforce completion of L1–L3 evidence before IST is scheduled, so the integrated test verifies performance instead of finding installation defects.
Tier claims must be demonstrated, not designed. We verify that redundancy paths, transfer sequences and maintenance isolation actually work under test conditions.
Operations inherit assets they must maintain from day one. We structure asset registers, labelling verification and O&M documentation as a controlled deliverable, not an afterthought.
