AS9100-aligned supplier surveillance and airworthiness quality.

Sector overview

Quality assurance for aerospace & defence projects

Aerospace quality tolerates no undocumented deviation. Special processes need approved sources, first articles need full dimensional and material accountability, and the counterfeit-parts risk in the electronics supply chain is a real airworthiness issue. Our work is aligned to AS9100 and the supplier surveillance expectations of prime contractors.

Where aerospace & defence quality typically fails

Special process control

Heat treatment, chemical processing, NDT and coating must be performed by accredited sources to approved specifications. We verify Nadcap scope currency and audit that the process parameters actually used match the approved specification.

First article inspection completeness

Incomplete AS9102 packages hold up qualification. We review ballooned drawings, characteristic accountability and material certification before submission to the prime.

Counterfeit and obsolescence risk in the supply chain

We assess supplier sourcing controls against AS5553, verify authorised distributor chains, and check test and inspection evidence for high-risk components.
